I think that if this had been in B&W only, it would have been so much better.
Selective desaturation images are hard to pull off.

The desturation (or, more to the point - the emphasized blue) detracts from the subject. Otherwise, I really like this image.

selective desat isn't often well received around here, but it's never bothered me much. cute kid, nice colors, clear and sharp...well done
