Those are actual flies around the dear. The strong lighting made them visible.

Nice bokeh, nice flies :) and the expression is perfectly bambi-ish, should have been a true b/w instead of sepia in my opinion or in color.

good shot, though there seem to be alot of white specks t the left of the smaller deers head, not sure if its dust or just something that was blowing in the wind at the time. otherwise good work

Nice duotone, I like that the picture is very sharp and contrasty. I would crop off the top of it slightly though.

I like the old-timey processing, though the shot itself is fairly standard (though very well executed). The most interesting thing about it is how much the deer seem to be mirroring each other. I wonder if there's something you could do with that? 6
