 A friend had a dog that she wanted some portraits of. I thought this one had a lot of character. I cloned out some spots on his face and he kept moving off the green background cloth so I cloned in some of that on the right side of the frame, as well as cloning out the foot of another dog on the left. Applied blur to background color. Dodged and burned, used curves adjustment, resized and sharpened.

Great face and the dog is priceless. The background looks artificial though and too photoshopped. Still, an 8!

My favorite pet portrait here. The contrasting colors are the reasons it works so well. If the focus was a little more spot on it would garner another point. Still highly rated.

Whoa! What a jarring effect. Did you heavily blur the background with photoshop or was this just a product of a narrow depth of field?

Love it. The title is so funny. I can still hear the accent on the cartoon as Stimpy is pronounced. This is whimsical and delightful, but need better focus.
