Now this I know. Aubrey Bodine - elevating the working man to art. Yeah, he was film and 40 years ago and a pictoralist (a dirty word around here, or so it seems)... Excellent work. Wish there was more space. Should have done better in the challenge. |

This must be a paving machine; which make me no longer the only one with a paving machine in a challenge! Love the conversion, so crisp. Being a great fan of night shots I have to say Bravo! |

The mix of black and white with the strong light and smoke/mist/rain really sets a dramatic atmosphere to the shot. It feels very film noir. There is a lot to see but each element seems to have its own mystery and story. I like it. |

Excellent use of B/W to bring out the drama of road repair. It has such a 40s movie feel and the constrast is what draws me in. The composition of the photo is also solid with the lights focusing the viewer on the action below. |

Good capture in what appears to be a difficult lighting situation. I like how the subjects create a diagonal up through the frame. |
