 Taken at the Pac-10 Cross Country Championships at the Stanford Golf Course. This was taken looking into the sun, so was a bit underexposed. In PS- changed levels, increased monochromatic contrast with 0.5 clipping on black and white channels. Dodged/burned, neat image, sharpened, save for web.

Very nice photograph, you handled difficult lighting situation very well. Your choice of aperture for DOF is just right. Well done!

This is a gret action shot IMO..... I like the DOF as well.....

Great capture, the expressions are excellent. But the color balance must be way off, or you had a really bright purple flash!

the focus on the lead runner is great and the blurring of the background is a good effect as those that are farther away fom him seem of less importance.
