Another photo of my (wonderful) husband who stood gazing into the sun for the time it took for me to get the sort of "look" I was going for. No wonder he looks "not amused" ;-)

The illuminated eye is amazing - also the contrast of the clarity of the foreground with the bokeh in the background really finishes the photo. Excellent work

Very striking, hard to look away from. Love the glow in the eye.
Might be interestng to see less detail on shadow side of face, less distracting detail in background.

This image is my fovorite for this challenge. Its effect plays on the imaginations like those highly effective movie posters. The lighting is superb and enough detail captured to aid the effect. 9

Your title fits very well with the image. I like the texture of the skin and the way one eye glows is a little creepy but it really adds to the mood of the picture.

I went through all the entries twice before I voted. This is my blue ribbon winner- which is probably the kiss of death (sorry). Great example of how much you can pack into a B&W image, this would have been quite different in color. Nice job!
