Congratz on this picture, clearly the best picture in the challenge becouse it uses the very cheesy HDR effect in a relatively subtle way.
Excelent job. |

I am just amazed by what a great photographer you are! You are only 16 years old and already so damn good! You have a gift for this. I am 41 and will never be as good as you are now. Keep it up. You will be a famous photographer someday. |

Lovely image, you should be proud of it. I had it for 2nd place as I knew the Cathedral photo would rule this competition. Well done, and doubly well done for the D50 rating, thats gonna take some beating. |

Ooops, he did it again! Haha, now you are going to have to have this HDR monstrosity in your top profile FOREVER :) At least as far as I am concerned, as I view the top 8 on profiles, hehe, you are going to need eight 7.58+ scores to erase this! I think you can do it but will probably take till 2010 to get there.
Anyway, congrats kiddo and especially on the new top score of the Nikon D50, I knew you really wanted that one :) |

A good subject for your treatment. Way too much evidence of editing though with the halos though - won't put off most of the DPC voters though as they love this kind of thing. Some nice touches however, and with more time you could make this special. |

Voted on this last night and came back to comment now. I think I love this more for the subject matter, perspective and muted colour, than the somewhat overly applied HDR which imo, renders it digital art in this instance. Having said that though, I gave it a 10 and now even with a second look over, cannot find justification for changing my vote. So I won't - a 10 it remains :) |

This photo has a feel as if it is a painting. I love the old truck and boat. Your use of HDR brings out the dark areas of the wet ground while allowing the brighter sections to stay in control. |

The HDR rendered a lot less realistic looking photo in this case, but I do like the results. This interesting and fairly dynamic composition combined with the processing give this very good art appeal. Nicely done! |
