| I definately understand the something new, and having a very young son myself, I can definately relate to the happiness. It is a very touching "aww" photo. However, either a lot was lost in the upload, or it's quite out of focus. The bottom of the photo appears really really bright. Great way to meet the challenge. Good luck!! |

| must be very personal shot but the image quality is just bad, sorry. Maybe you should have tried not blowing the image up but framing it and taking a shot of that? |

| I can't think of any nice way around it; this photo is horrible. It almost looks like it was scanned, not taken with a digital camera. The compression artifacts are VERY destracting. |

| It migt have a more "peaceful" feel with less contrast (esp. highlights) and less sharpening. But maybe that's not the feeling you wanted... |

| The lighting and graininess and bw format help keep this from being a cliche picture. |

| I don't care about the clichè. But it's way to grainyand OOF. I know it's the camera though... |

| Grainy at higher resolution. Good composition, but color of new baby may have added to the photo composition |
