I think I can see the reflection of your camera in there! Take care of the little things and this would be a professional-quality shot. Composition, lines, focus are all wonderful. This is my favorite so far. |

Good use of contrast. It has the first glance appearance of B&W, then on further inspection I see color within the reflection. =7 syamjonimi |

This is a pretty cool angle. The background is good, and lighting is good. Only thing I think could make this a little better is if there wasnt so much reflection in the metal. I see skin color, camera lens and something green. One suggestion would be to have the background behind the camera be all one color, and to either wear that same color, so that you wouldn't stand out, or to use the timer and run away. so all that is reflecting in the object would be the background behind the camera. if it's all one color, then it wont be such an obvious reflection. Overall a nice photo. Good luck with the challenge. |

I didn't see the movie the title refers to, I don't recognize the hardware directly in front of me, and at first I was certain the background was film, now I'm not so certain it's not a ventian blind, but I still like this shot. I hope you were going for something abstractly artsy. Interesting/baffleing shot. 8 Swash |

That is very cool. I don't quite understand what I'm looking at, but it's shiny enough to be new :). I'm guessing it has something to do with perfume. Great on all technical counts, and appealing to me for its composition and all those colourful reflections. 10! - lisae |

hm. i don't get it. i'm wondering whehter this has something to do with good old film development (i wouldn't know) but somehow it doesn't strike me as that. it's the title that suggests it for me. the shininess could suggest new-ness, but overall i think i'll be going with the 'not sure how it meets the challenge' line. as for the photo itself, i like the lighting, even though your reflection is quite visible (and impossible to remove), the angle is cool, even though i'm not sure how it adds to the object, and the divided background adds interest. -- gr8photos (5) |

Great angle and background. Light is good. Reflections are just about identifiable. :) |

I love the lighting! However, I don't quite get what it has to do with "new". |

Nice angle, clean and crisp. A little clinical but can imagine it in an advert in a magazine. 6, Kavey |

I like it! I'm struggling a little bit with how it relates to the topic, but I still think it's a well-done shot. |

I know it would cost you a bit more but you should've defentely tried to have it with the perfume in the air... |

Perhaps with the nozzle turned toward the light source? |
