| I get sick of flowers (and I do adore them) but MAN you nailed it. Just a stunning image and the detailing and crop - wow. Congrats on a nice finish. |

| Such a perfect rose, Sigrun! I really like the quality. It could fit very well in a botany textbook, kind of like those beautiful old prints that one can still find for sale in antique shops (paintings that look like photographs). Good job and congratulations on a good score too. |

| This has a real painterly quality to it. I'd really like to know how you achieved that. And, I'm wondering why you didn't remove the object in the lower right hand corner. It is just a little distracting. I think the wide border works very well. 8 |

| pity the background is off colour, the whiteness of the frame would have been better, nice focus |

| What ever that is in the bottom right corner might hurt your score. It's a distraction, and being advanced editing, could have been removed. |

| I'm sure you have heard this a 1000 times but the "thing" in the bottom right corner is distracting. But overall a nicely composed image with good use of light. |

| On this monitor the upper L corner is grey & there is a stray petal in the lower R corner. Nice texture in the FG petal. |

| Good picture, focus is great, I love to be able to see the detail in the rose... Only bad little thing is the "something" showing at the bottom right corner... |

| The large white border belies the greyness of the background and (especially for this challenge) should have been minimized in my opinion. The intrusive blob in the lower right corner is a distraction and more so because one of the subject's sepals points right to it. Otherwise the subject has delicate lighting which helps show its form in a pleasing way. |

| Super detail and texture in the petals, and good exposure. It is a shame that the tip of another flower has just made it into the bottom right hand corner of the frame. |
