Something looks very wrong here - it seems to me that you've ruined your picture in post processing. |

3 - Good potential, like the composition and colors - although do wonder if another color other than red may have brought out Boo's eyes more. Main thing in this image is the grain/noise/something - very dominant here to the point the quality has deteriorated. Also, sharper on the eyes, and possibly also nose/mouth/whiskers.. Could all be pp issues, not sure. |

funny texture in the fur maybe from compression or processing. I like your lighting and background. |

I'm not sure what you have going on in the background looks digital. The face is out of focus, and the exposure was bad - you just can't fix one this bad. On the + you did get a good expression. Keep trying pet photos are hard and if you don't have studio lights it can be a hard set up. You will find the black and white fur the hard to get right. Maybe you should try some natural light. |

I am not diggin this - the focus is clearly on the eyes but it seems that the DOF is just too tight ... the foreground should be sharper IMHO ... The background doesn't blend well and goes over the line to distracting |

Processing overdone for my taste and it looks like the cat has dandruff. |
