Sorcha, the cat who hates everyone but me. She is half Siamese and half unknown, though with the green eyes and knowing she had some blue littermates, I suspect the other half is Russian Blue. She is a very fluffy, long-haired gray, ultra-chatty ten ten year old mutt kitty.
Neat Image and a crop. Lots and lots of dup layers in various blending modes. Levels. Several layer masks with gaussian blur and darkening. Dodge, burn, USM, sharpen tool on eyes, nose, whiskers. Eye color treated on separate layer in color mode with hue/sat.

Just one post-challenge comment, in response to the desat comment: the only desat I used was for color correction, as Sorcha is naturally a gray cat.

| 4 - Like the concept, colors look a little odd, likely due to pp. Wish the eyes were as sharp as the nose. Some issues in the darker areas, but could be due to resizing. |

Royal is an adjective that fits her very well !
I feel something special for grey cats , this one is so lovely. |

| I love this close up composition. The focus is good, though if there was sharpening done, it might be just a touch too much, loosing the soft/fuzzy feel. Good selective desaturation. |
