Congratulations on hitting the top 10! In my opinion, dogs should have been given equal standing and this guy should have been in the top 3! :-D Kidding aside, this was one of my 10's and I thought it was a perfect capture of a beautiful animal! Way to go!

Great portrait that really captures the spirit of "sad puppy dog eyes". Zoe nailed the expression perfectly and you captured the expression well. The white background is a good high contrast color to allow this black dog to really pop visually. Illumination on your subject is great with no harsh shadows so that we see all the lovely details of this dog not to mention the nice soft sheen on the fur.

9 - Maybe slight variation in composition/framing.. Very nice capture. What a set of eyes. Undecided on the stark white background - but minor.

Nice shot. Beautiful eyes and excellent detail on the dogs face. For some reason the white background seems an odd matchup but I couldnt tell you exactly why. Just feels off a bit. 7
