Amazing capture Phil, added to my favs and congrats on your top 10. Love the DOF and clarity in the fur on your fuzzy faced friend :-) Almost looks like she is drewling...had a cat that did that and made a major mess when he purred. Cheers sir...

Striking eyes, wonderful detail and the selective desat works very very well. Has a great portriat feel to it and the angle is sharp. Bumping up to 8.

7 - Very nice, but is a little odd as a result of the pp/toning - mainly because of the black around the eyes - yet still works in an odd way, in my opinion. Like to have seen it more subtle, but may look just as you intended. The cat's left eye, just a little too much and detracts and distracts the more I look at this - again, in my opinion.

Excellent selective desaturation and focus in this shot. I think the composition works very well and I like the direct stare into the camera from the cat.
