| I'd like to thank everyone who has voted and commented on my entry. This was the first time I've entered a challenge and am very pleased and gratified to have done so well. The competition was stiff and congratulations to all the worthy ribbon winners. Someone remarked on the "strange" colour of the blanket the dogs are lying on - it was originally a lemon sheet, which I "burned" to darken - a mistake with hindsight. I've taken much better images of the pair since then, pity I didn't have them in time for the challenge. Finishing so well has now made me determined to get myself a ribbon - but how do I interpret "Brown"? Thanks again everyone. |

The dogs are lovely !
What I dislike is the "strange" color of the cloth , it looks a bit unreal. |

| 8 - Oh dear. Yes, good capture, lighting very nice. Just the composition, cropping of the left ear (really wish it were not cropped) and the base/coloring - but likely opportune so.. difficult. |

| Cheat! You're using the "adorability factor", :D Great focus and coloring. Very nice photo. Perhaps crop tighter on the right. Toe nail is distracting. |

| OOOOHHHHHHH this is so precious. The clarity of this shot is really good and the lighting is awesome it makes the pup sort of stand out more than the mom. The pup is in the right spot in thirds both ways. And you got them asleep!! Excellent Shot!! In fact I'm making it a fave (gave it a 10) |
