 Ya know what? WPL is over(for my team anyway). why not have some fun? sure high scores are nice and maybe I could shoot a sweet perfect little animal portrait, but MAN!, this shot is freakin hilarious! may not be a high scorer but I can't wait to see the comments it gets. ROFL. and just in case it comes up, since one person has already asked me... the cat is very much alive. she's just nuts and was in hunting mode while I was shooting. here's another shot from the same shoot.

my cats love catnip.
I have four.
and they have wars over who sleeps on the catnip pillow.
it gets quite nasty sometimes.
the normally docile quiet ones get all bent out of shape and attack.
that stuff should be illegal :-)

Anyway, about your picture, it's great.
I don't know how I missed it in the challenge.
But I did.
You've done a great job with the white background and the composition of the kitty.
very well done.
it should certainly have placed higher than it did.

awwww. no heart attack for my wittle baby!! no!!!..lol there was no catnip actually involved. just playing with a cotton ball(which I never let her actually keep or eat). Ive never seen her make this face before. I actually didnt even notice it while shooting.

6 - Guessing this cat does this a lot, in which case likely is a good portrait of this cat. Just has a somewhat 'hard' feel overall to the image which is likely just personal taste, but I'd like to have seen softened or, more 'natural'.
