This is terrific. The blue of the residue on the sparkler is perfectly exposed, which would be no mean feat photographing a burning sparkler!
And the spectrum of colours from the burn - white, yellow, orange, red. Perfect. The narrow-ish DOF creates a definite impression of the sparks coming towards the viewer, too. |

| The tip of this looks like a sad man, that's what I see out of this at least. Good idea, I hope you didn't damage your equipment, I guess you used a glass between your lens and the motive. Happy new year and good luck! 7 from me. |
