A beautiful photo. The repeating patterns and colors are stellar. The lighting is surperb and focus great. I like the use of depth here, but making the way you implemented is almost begging for the central focus to be a "different" flower or color (or maybe if all the other flowers were pure red). This is purely a subjective thing. Beyond this though, nearly everything is perfect. A terrific capture.

I agree with Julianna's comment but I really like it the way it is now, too. I just like it a lot, I love red color. I smiled when I opened the full size - thank you for this:)!

I am not a fan of very shallow DOF unless there is really one unique subject surrounded by similar subjects. In this shot, the red and yellow tulips are all beautiful, and I think I would have preferred to see them all in focus, and possibly with a little burning to darken the solid red ones to make the multi-colored tulips stand apart. The colors and light here are wonderful, though, and you have a beautiful image.

Very rich color and a nice subtle (yes, subtle!) composition. The striated variety kinda forms a center group massing within the solid colored variety. It's subtle, but it gives the shot character and form.

This is beautiful! I'm baffled as to why it didn't score higher. Maybe the dead center focal point? I bet this would be a really nice print to put in a frame of a complementary color.

i have a feeling as to what you were after, but something's just not working for me. the perspective and shallow dof lead me to look in one place, but all the similar colors keeps my eye hunting. maybe if the subject was surrounded by complimentary colors, instead, or if only one particular flower stood out. as is, this is, to me, anyways, visually chaotic.
