| Beautiful cropping, great lighting. The only thing that catches me off guard is the lipstick stopping part way on the lips. The soft feel really works beautifully. |

Compelling & disturbing all at once. I did not favor this one when I first went through - looking w/o voting - but coming through again reveals tom me how fickle even my own taste can be sometimes - ha ha...
I like what the light does here, but in this instance I find the grain detracts from my impression. Yes, it does do so much to counter the porcelain doll cliché but I almost feel like glossing the skin would have balanced it, adding a deeper sense of irony...

Fantastic photo, love the pose, model, make up, lighting. Her iris looks pretty weird being at the top and not centered, but apart from that it's great.

excellent photograph & crop, great contrasts & composition .. imaginative makeup ... beautiful model ..
often thick black borders overpower the photo, but this one works ...

| Okay, I give low votes to just about every "half face" shot I see. I'm just not a fan of cropping half a face off. That said ... I *do* like her make up. That, and the sharp focus on her eyes has made this image stand out for me. Well done. |
