 Couldn't decide between two images, so i went with this one. Can't say its the best of 2006, as I feel some of what are my better images have already been entered. Quite dissapointed with the technical aspects of the image... Only got the camera a couple of weeks before shot was taken, so thats my excuse :P. Image taken at f/4.5 so lens very not sharp, and side of image very soft.

- raw conversion w/heavy crop (portrait to landscape lol)
- NN
- darkening of ky
- worked on waves with selective curves, levels
- solid yellow w/selective blending so it only blends on certain colour, giving the yellow a lot more kick in the image
- HSL on yellow and blue
- levels on people to darken them a little bit
- sharpen +dpc resize

The people on the thrirds line anchor the composition nicely, I like the subtle diagonal of the waves (while the horizon is perfectly horizontal) adds to the motion of the water. The colors are lovely. 8
