 A butterfly arrives to feed in Kefalonia.

These little green fellas were all over the place but catching them in flight and in focus was tough. I followed this one around a bit as he seemed to be intent on visiting this shrub and kept returning to the same spot, giving me a bit more chance to capture him.

The title means nothing other than an alternative translation for 'arrival' (and it sounds a bit more special!) which title I already have in my portfolio.

Voting wise, I expect people to have tired of bug shots and will probably score around low 6s if lucky.

I gave this an 8. Really liked it. Colors - very nice. Composition - very nice. Capture - very good. 'If only' to get 'it all' in focus, but very, very difficult.

What is goin' on with THIS? Is it, like, floating on it's back in mid-air? Did you rotate? And, are those hydrangias turned red? Soooo many questions and so few answers. Cool! Love the way he just floats there.

The angle on this looks very odd. Did you rotate it? It almost looks like the butterfly is falling off rather than making a landing. Nice colours, could use a bit more DOF

beautiful and velvety shot. I'm a bit thrown off with the orientation as I'm not really sure the butterfly is in flight or sightting on a blurred petal. Hmmmmm .... either way, nice work and good luck!
