Photograph Information Photographer's Comments
Challenge: Motion Panning II (Basic Editing)
Camera: Nikon D70
Lens: Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G IF-ED
Location: Hummar in Jordan
Date: Jan 16, 2007
Aperture: f.16
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/50
Galleries: Animals
Date Uploaded: Jan 16, 2007

Cropped rather badly since there was a bucket in the foreground, would have liked more space in front that showed the panning better. Cropped resized, curves and levels usm.
The horse is Haleem a thoroughbred Arabian of the Hummar stables in Jordan

Thanks Gugi, a favorite subject to photograph, never the same pose and soooo unpretentious :)

the head and body are good and sharp, I feel a slightly longer shutter speed would have been even better, but a little more difficult to get right

really great work, I love how you captured all 4 legs off the ground :). The lighting is so intense! I wish there were more midtones on its forehead :(.
