 Editing steps:
rotated image for a slightly better crop
cropped about 6 times to get the position right
levels
curves
dodge and burn quite a bit to remove outside distractions like white spots :-/ had to paint over a few with black too
brightness/contrast
hue/sat
cloned out a tiny cut on the outside of one of the plums
cloned in a few extra seeds on the kiwi because it looked sick
dodged the water to give it some form
channel mixer to give the fruit a more yummy appeal :)
dup layer and burned the kiwi because it was too bright and you couldn't see the reflection in the mirror
2 layers USM
resized for challenge
1 layer very low setting Neat Image

This was a pain to set up and I made quite the mess :)

I decided to use the cameras flower setting.

Fruit is on a mirror that was primed with scotch guard
water has oil mixed with it so it would hold form when splashing. I halfway depressed the shutter with my left hand and when the water I was pouring with my right hand hit the fruit, I clicked. LOTS of outtakes :) This was my first time doing anything like this so I hope it does ok.

I am hoping for at least a 6 :)

Nice colors. Two things that bother me. It is a mighty tight crop on those Fruits. Maybe leave 1/2" on the right side. Also I think this would be much better if you had a slower shutter to make the water blurry. It would have a much better mood IMO.

personally, I think that the crop is a bit too tight at the bottom and right sides ...
