Greetings from the Critique Club
My first impression unfortunately is about the technicals. While I like grainy images this one doesn't quite work for me. It kinda looks like you cropped this very tightly and that's why it looks the way it does.
That aside the composition does do some good things. You made the best out of that background and you gave the subject some negative space. However for this challenge context is king and you didn't give your subject enough of a surrounding to better understand the moment. Her expression could be made more interesting if more was shown.
Lighting, contrast and b/w conversion are all good. |

i recognize that border...it's e301's ;) what i get from this is that you're afraid to get close and shoot directly at people. zoom out and face your fear. |

I love the accidental nobility of her expression at this moment... or maybe it's a real nobility you found that she herself might not recognize. 7 |

Looks over sharpened, otherwise a good shot. |

Nice lighting but just seems a little un-sharp and not much interest to keep your eye. |

Great expression. I like the B&W here. I'd have take out the right side with the card labels, etc.
Image is a bit grainy for my taste: maybe a result of too much USM or cropping too much. |
