Would she be wearing the wedding ring while writing the dear-John letter?

Maybe compose it with some other things to create more emotion - wedding dress, plane tickets, gun...

I like the framing and composition of this, and i also find it well done because you have minimal glare from the paper. karmat

Yikes, hope that doesn't happen to me! Very cute, and nice technical detail in the photo.

Looked at little phony. Maybe Sepia and a few less ornaments.

Too funny. I can't quite make out the first 2 words of the last line, but it doesn't really matter. I caught "I'm leaving you because...and DPChallenge." and that was enough for me. lol. I like the angle. I'm kind of bothered by the bottom right corner. I know it's not avoidable at this angle, but maybe something could be placed over it to better match the photo. I'd like to see a comparrison of this photo to one where she has her wedding ring off and sitting on the letter. Great idea for the challenge, and good luck.

Nice idea, nice lighting and colour.
The blue and read beneath is a distraction as is the edge of the desk.

Was it not better to remove any wedding-rings? Too bad about the focus not being on the tip of the pencil.

Great idea! I really like this and it would be even better with that little bit of red in the lower right hand corner cropped off. Nice job with the concept for the challenge too. :)

Feels upside down. Would like it rotated 180. 5
