| Too funny! Either this is a "do-it-yourself" pencil building kit, the world's most difficult puzzle challenge, or you have a terrible pencil chewing habit! Crisp, sharp image, good composition. |

I love the diagonal with the paper/ desk delineated by the spiral binding. And of course I like the pencil and shavings. I find there's a little too much shadow around the lower left hand side and the pencil tip is too close to edge of frame at the bottom right corner. Would like the diagonal of the white paper to go right into corner at top left, and have more space at bottom right.
Very nice shot and idea.

| hehe Definately original. I like your execution of this. How it is on the notebook, at a good angle and the lighting all make it a very nice photo. The color of the desk and the color of the pencil are similar, which brings the entire photo together nicely. Great job and good luck in the challenge. |

| Great composition and clarity. I suppose the title explains why the pencil is covered by all those shavings but I don't find it resulting in a pleasing effect. Seems contrived and it takes away from the overall visual impact of the image. 6 Journey |
