 I froze my ass off to get this shot. I went out this night to go take pictures of the sunset and ice, and I had almost given up on entering this challenge. Driving back home of the side of the highway I saw this tunnel! I just caught it out of the corner of my eye so I finally drove around all over the place figuring out which side roads I would have to take to get to it. Well...the side roads only got me close, I had to jump my way down a snowy hill bank with camera and tripod in hand to get down there. Set the tripod up on one end of the tunnel, fired a few test shots and then set the camera on my timer and took off running down to the end of the tunnel. Thus the result. Hope this is "circly" enough for everyone. I intentionally edited it to be a little more on the darkside and did a bunch of dodging and burning, some sharpening, levels, brightness/contrast, color balance, neat image, slight rotate and crop, and shadows and highlights.

I thought this was a realy cool shot and feel it deserved a higher score than this. Thanks for sharing how you did it.....

You certainly had the right idea given how the red ribbon winner was very similar. I wonder if your tunnel being more elliptical hurt you a bit.

This has a lonely feel to it. I like that. I don't know how long the tunnel is, but maybe if you had been back even further, the impact would have been stronger.
