Little too much going on here for me to really see anything. 4. |

I like how you've captured the twinkling of the lights. What is that thing front and center, though? |

You will have to forgive me if I'm not exactly sure what's going on here. I see a suction cup santa, that looks like he might be driving a sleigh, indicated by the antlers coming out of santas head. There are other little santas hanging from a tree and some google-eye x-ray glasses. I think the angle could have been better, to maybe show the "story" a bit better. The santa in the front is really dark and covers up most of what is going on in the background. Just because I don't get it, doesn't mean you didn't though. I mean, I wasn't there, so without seeing everything, it's just hard for me to see. I think it depicts childhood (for most kids) very well, by including santa in there. good luck in the challenge. |

A rather incoherent composition, I'm afraid. I understand the POV attempted here, but it doesn't work for me. 4 Jak |

The little santa (?) in the foreground is rather dark. I do think that the effects with the lights is very nice. |

This needs a simpler backround and better lighting. Christmas was a good idea for the challenge though. |

I think i'm slightly lost on what i'm looking at here? Is this the back side of a christmas decoration? The lighting doesn't give me much of a clue.. :( - jmsetzler |

The main subject of the photo is not lit well enough (and it's lit too much to be a silhouette!) It's a nice sparkle effect on the fairy lights though. |

The elf in the foreground dominates the photo, but is way too dark to see, to close and from behind. The rest of the scene seems nice, but the elf blocks much of the photo. I kinda like the stars on the lights, but they need to be crossed or starred further (star filter probably required here) 5 Swash |

I like the idea for this, but I think the main cuddly character blocks out too much of the picture. Because the light source is on the other side from him, he is too dark. The fairy lights have come out really well though - I have tried many times to take pics of the decorated tree, with the fairly lights, and had atrocious results. Mostly because the automatic light meter can't cope and I am too scared/ lacking in expertise to go for manual settings. Kind Regards Kavey |

Don't use the name of the challenge in the title, no way, no part, no how! Christmas says "child" without stating the obvious. |

Nice idea, just lost in this poor lighting. Score 6 Kee |

I like this ok but it's a little too dark. A bit of level would really help. |
