At first I tried to do this by myself, but I just couldn't get the composition right in 10 seconds. I had to make sure to run to my place, get my hand in the chain, get my feet showed, make my skirt tidy, and keep my hand at the background so it looked like I was drawing the next tally mark. So hubby helped me out to click the camera. Thanks babe!

(I know the chain is very loose. I didn't think about that, but I could've. Oh well)

PP: lots. Thanks B.!

:D

~~

WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I am so happy, thanks to you all guys!!! :D

I wonder how many of you counted the tally marks :P

Way to go, Hanneke! Now slip your hand right out of that loose chain and have a glass of champagne! Make that 113 glasses. :) Congratulations - superbly done. My peanut gallery perception of your work is that it has leaped exponentially in quality over the past year or two. I'm a fan. :)

Unfortunately the chain looks loose enough to remove. But the exposure is good.

yay!!! you'd better get a ribbon with this one :P
cool idea, very symbolic, cool with this white background, much much better than it could have been in a "real" prison with a brick wall and stuff. good luck:)

its neat how you can't see where the wall and floor meet.

Is that Biteme? Nice high key. I like the dialogue between the strokes on the wall and the circles on the chain. Now for the cross-dressing challenge, put a real prisoner in that get-up :) Btw - I don't think you'll need the key to slip out of those chains ...

Normally I do not care for shots that look as set up as this. But I think you made it look elegant. Like, it being obviously staged does not distract, as in many other shots, but it adds, because it seems more like you are portraying a emotion or a state of mind rather than a specific situation or event. Hope this makes sense - what I am trying to say is this is awesome!!
