Great lighting.Helps to give that dreamy effect. She seems almost like a porcelain doll.
The reflection in the eye and her expression on her face is what makes this shot simply amazing.
I would love to see the EXIF info and settings for a shot like this.

| Looks like a truly magical moment. The soft focus here is perfect, composition is great - like sneaking a peak at her own little private ceremony, and the lighting is wonderful. Very natural look/pose/feel. A definite christmas card look. Excellent shot. |

| very lovely and appropriate use of soft focus. The tree seems to be reaching out to embrace her, and she has such a special expression on her face - concentration, magic. You have depicted this as if it were seen through memory. I like the backlight - but wish the wooden bar and horizontal shadow weren't there, or at least were so pronounced. Its also a bit dark on the top left. 8 |

| This is my first 10. If there ever was a pefect photo...this is it. The focus, lighting, composition and subject are all perfect. I can't ever think of a childs photo as beautiful. Good luck in this challenge. This should be a blue ! |
