Making her face dark was a creative choice. I tossed the idea around over and over to go lighter or darker. I guess I should have gone lighter. I knew it wouldn't be in the top 20 but I did think it would do better than it did. Oh well, still learning.

Nice composition but the exposure is too dark. I hope you'll shoot this again and play with the exposure a bit. I think You'll have an interesting portrait. |

Just a tad bit too dark or not contrasted enough. You lose some detail between the cigarette, her hand, and the hair. At first I thought her hair was smoking, too me a minute to realize that it was the cigarrette. |
