He's a scruffy cutie! Love the different tones of his fur that you have captured. Everyone is walking past him and he only cares about one thing... :) |

AWWW. Wonderful use of neg. space. I like the line your eyes follows to get to the back of the shot. |

Debs, dont expect anything cogent fom me regarding processing!
Like the 'expression' on the dogs face, but having just seen your other waiting shot I cant say that this has got quite the same quality about it that makes me want to sit and look at it in real detail
(Damn that reads harsh....Its not meant to be...Think I was just saying I liked your other one so much that this suffers a sidgeon in comparisson |

I wouldn't crop it, since I think the lady stepping away at the top is good for the composition - maybe if the dog was more stark against the background, i.e., with no dark-panted legs just behind him, the composition would have more impact. But that's more about capture, not processing, I guess - not helpful. :) Let me try again - maybe you could try to lighten up the dog a bit, to see more detail in the curls of fur and perhaps make him stand out a bit more from what's just behind him, and also clone out the metal, distracting, parts of the bag just above his head.
And I agree with Artyste that street photography take a certain knack - not for the socially anxious, like me. LOL You have a real eye for these types of shots and I enjoy what you come up with. |

I'd really like to get into more street photography.. but a photographer with a social anxiety problem = difficulties. lol.
Heck, I can't even take a photograph if vehicles are passing me on the street sometimes.
This has a nice composition and a great candid feel, but it seems to suffer from camera shake a little.. or movement of some kind. Clarity is a little off. That's the only thing I'd look at trying to process, but I don't know if it's really that fixable. Otherwise, it has a great look to it. |
