Greetings from the Critique Club -
Easily meets the challenge here with this colorful image. The colors are vibrant, the motion blur works well, especially with the action of the horses head being pretty still and in focus. That has a good feel. It would have been nice to have the rider a bit more in focus, but shooting at 1/40 I think you did real well.
Composition wise it might be a bit lacking. Centered image with not much else around keeps it fairly simple and straightforward. Not sure what it needs but it fells like it needs something.
Overall a nice image that comes with a 6+ score. Can't complain about that. And there isnt really much that I can offer as improvements. Nice work.

Interesting mix of motion blur...front quarter of horse clear, everything else moving one way or the other... |

Really good motion blur shot. Great composition, nice plain background, perfect amount of blur on the horses legs and good focus on the horses head. If the jockey's face was as sharp as the horses head this would have been perfect but I think for this challenge it's a great shot. |

The motion blur is quite interesting, it's good how you kept the unblurred portion to the horses head. Great color tones as well...nicely done! |
