I thought you should've placed much higher with this shot Ursula. I gave it a 10 personally. I love the colors in the shot, they are just so appealing. As is the composition. Seems people knocked you down for it not being a 'traditional' macro shot. Congratulations on a fantastic shot!

P.S. I have a feeling this might sell well on DPCprints!

This is a really interesting picture even though the colors of the cloth are bright, it is the models green eye that lures my attention.

Very vibrant orange. The skin looks like it was shot through a IR filter (or Neat Imaged) Very cool

Most creative shot in challenge. Really nice. Don't get the title at all. Is this a play on all the bug shots that are usually in macro photography? If so, not nearly as creative as the pic. Almost makes it look like you were lucky with the pic cause your title is really bad, sorry. 8.

Nice lighting; crisp and clear shot with good composition. The contrast in the coloring between the face and the fabric feels "odd" to me.

Technical: fits the challenge. Exposure composition focus lighting all good, though I don't get the title.

Personal: This is a lovely photo, but for me the color choices really detract from the image. I find myself looking more at the coloring (particularly around the lips and chin- it just look wrong) than at the image itself.
