An incredible image. There's something quite ghostly and outwordly about it. It fascinates me and unsettles me at the same time. In short, a real work of art, and I mean that quite sincerely. |

This is just brilliant. So creative, interesting, gritty, arty, moving. Take pride in the mediocre score. Great art never appeals to the masses. :o) |

Wow, didn't see this one during voting - but I agree with the commenters, this is an exceptional image. Definately not DPC material but clearly that cannot be a criteria for judgement regarding great images like this.

I can't believe that I was only one of two people to give this a ten. Mystial and mysterious. Dancing and singing. Light and dark. All the faces of religion. |

This shot can mean whatever we want it to mean -- it's a total enigma. Great processing, too. |

Hard too find out what this is all about in a first look, but I like the shadows and the grainy look |

I really don't get it, but it is a very nice treatment nonetheless....your post processing is so dramatic that it makes everything else work. 8 |

I like the picture overall. Very good lighting. It's one of those illusion type pictures. At first I thought it was a woman with a shawl turned around with her left elbow up and right hand on the table, and facing the shadow on the wall that is probably saying "Ave Maria". Closer examination shows it to be a ballet dancer with her head cut off. I'm wondering the purpose of the cut-off head. Maybe it's to disguise the figure as possibly being Mary? |

Interesting graphical interpretation as vital tones are absent. Possibly all sepia may have risen its compitative edge. Bump. |
