A drunk's perspective? It doesn't do anything for me, but it does meet challenge.

Well I can figure out it is two glasses. Nice morphing into the frame. But overall the blur is distracting, not enough sharp detail in any place. Very soft. Interesting still, I examined it for a while.

I'm a big fan of food/drink, super shallow, dof shots but here I think you've diminished the power of the glass and the wine. This I would say is all about the rim of the glass and not much more, where a little of the glass itself and perhaps some of the wine would have been far more interesting.

Nice work, this may be a posthumous treat.

Good idea, but DOF is too shallow IMHO.

Blurry and out of focus - and I really like it :)
Nice take on the challenge.

oooh, nice abstract here. With just a sliver of the rim in focus. You did a great job with the composition.

It seems too soft for me.

I'll have to admit, my initial impression of this photo was "Brown ribbon all the way!" But the more I study it, the more I like it. It is a well-done abstract image. Do I think it would improve with more DOF? Perhaps. However, I also like the image as it is too.

I feel that better lighting would`ve brought out the glasses a bit more.

Love this. The shallow dof is very intruiging.

am I reaching that age in my life that I need to start using glass? or is the picture way out of focus.

Lovely abstract! This is great. Hopefully the rest of DPC will enjoy this. Bumping to an 8!
