| Shadows to sun issue - subjects seem overly dark, while sky over blown. I am surprised at how well the trunk shows up, but your focus is up higher. The stem branches do make for a cool sprocketting effect. 7 Swash |

Lovely focus point - the way the leaf stems radiate out really pulls the eye to where they meet and thus to the fruit. Good viewpoint and composition.

| The abstract quality of this shot is excellent..Yo useem to be let downby the quality of the camera as there seems to be a lot of noise in the shot and the color saturation is pretty bad...nevertheless....great composition..8..hokie |

| I love the radial symmetry with the globes interspersed, the background of interlaced foliage, and the rough textured folds of the trunk. Would have prefered sharper focus though. (7) ~mcmurma |

| great idea, exotic fruit on a tree. except for you it's probably not so exotic ;) the diversity is one of the things i like about dpc. the composition of your photo is also nice, i like how the leaf-stalks are fanning out to all sides of the photo. ROT works well here. i'd love to see just a little more contrast, and a blue sky would be cool, but that part is kinda hard to control, i know. -- gr8photos (5) |

| Wow. Excelent photo. I love the patterns. I think you might have some of the same problem I had with my photo though. I had gotten a comment about shooting "upward" into the sky and having the whiteish glares from the sky. I don't think it's distracting though. I think it adds a nice touch coming through the leaves. The focus and clarity are good. Angle is excelent and the framing is also very good. I like the patterns that the branches make. Overall great photo. Good luck in the challenge. ~HBunch7187~ |
