| Nice lighting and color. i think the crop is a touch too tight, and the spots(not the seeds) on the ground a little distracting. Overall a nice, bright, colorful shot. |

| loving the backlighting on this. wishing the pepper wasnt quite so centered in the frame. some of the seeds were a little fuzzy. if you had aperature control you could do a smaller aperature for more DOF. good job! 8 mag99 |

| Great shot. I am reminded of a jack-o-lantern the way your lighting is set up. The seeds add to the picture the way they are scattered in the foreground. |

This is really neat (similar to langdon or drew'). I love the colors and the great detail. It's great, cept that something is off a little, but can't figure it out. Maybe, cropping tighter, so that there is no black on the sides....just a thought - what do I know. Wonderful. 8

| Very nice.. elegant and simple. I love the way the pepper glows from the inside. The seeds hanging on the inside, and laid across the front give the shot a casual natural look. Nice angle for the shot, showing the inside on the left and the outside on the right. If I was going to pick nits, I'd say that it would have been nice if your DOF had included the seeds in front. Oh, and your pepper has a birth mark on the right! :) Good job, you obviously spent a lot of time getting this just right! (9) - chrisab |

Very nice. I like the back-lit interior, it looks very nice. I also think the pips on the floor are good aswell. One thing I think that would make it better though. Try perhaps removing those 2 stray pips that have caught on the side. I think they are a little bit distracting.

| This is most excellent... The lighting is perfect and the back lighting from behind the pepper is an excellent idea. Technically, this photo is almost perfect... Everything is nice and crisp except for a few of the seeds below the pepper, but that is trivial. Great idea and great shot :) = 10 - jmsetzler |

| This reminds me of Halloween. Orange & Black. Jack-o-lantern feeling. The lighting is really cool, and the seeds are a nice touch. Minor distractions: blurry seeds in extreme foreground and light coming under pepper on left side. It's probably the dark bg, but it seems a tad too dark. Works with the eery mood tho.
