 Taken in the main lobby of the Château Frontenac in Québec City. My main concern with this image is the blown highlights in the windows, but there was no compromising with such a big, dark, and dusty room. C'est la vie!

I had also considered submitting one of the following images for the Free Study, but finally decided on the picture of the Château lobby:

This is such a beautiful image, and I especially love the play of light streaming through the windows.
A truely breathtaking, quite emotive image, as it stirs emotions in me, when viewing it.
Perfect..... Adding it to my favorites.
I believe it deserved a better score than this, but we know it is good.....

Very pretty capture of some beautiful light. Not sure why this didn't fare a bit better, but perhaps showing the peoples' feet would have helped a bit? God only knows.

I like the sun rays and the mansion (chateau), but it would be nice to know why all the people are there, which is maybe what the paper fold-out two people are reading shows.
