I don't think this photo qualifies for the negative space challenge. There's too much detail. The dog's head is hard to distinguish - black fur is hard to photograph. |

A popular bumper sticker around here reads "Dog Is My Co-Pilot" |

I don't see how this picture meets this weeks challenge at all. Way too busy to even have negative space. The title only confused me more. |

The title made me laugh. Holy cow sandwiches are expensive where you live. Good shot of the dog. 5 |

as it relates to the challenge: I can not tell what you are defining as negative space, so i will be interested in finding that out.
as a picture: it is a little grainy, or soft-focused. I think trying from a different angle, if possible, would have made it stronger. karmat |

What's the point of the title? |

Space surrounding the beast is not supportive. |

Am I looking at the sign, the dog, the tiles, the steps, or what? Too busy...1 |

Dog rules, unfortunately this photo doesn't. |

My least favourite picture so far. Taking pictures of animals with black fur is tricky. As you can see, all detail is losed on the dogs head. I do not get the title at all. The is no negative space in this shot as far as I can see. A big no from me, sorry. 1-Martin |

Where is the negative space? |

That's not negative space. |

sorry, but in my mind, this does not qualify as a negative space photo, there is too much going on in the background. as for the photo, because of the shadow and black fur, details in the dog's head are hard to pick out, and the head & eyes are generally very important to portrait. -- gr8photos. |

Needed to get the face here IMHO and either all of the sign or none of it. Score 5 Justine |

Where's the negative space? I don't see what the point of this photo is, unfortunately. And the title begs the question 'What point are you trying to make?' |
