I'm afraid this one strikes me as being a bit uninteresting. I assume the trees are considered to be the subject, but they're not in good focus. The sky was probably a bit more dramatic a few moments before the shot was taken... |

This has the potential of a really nice shot. It is a little grainy -- possibly hand shake/tremor, of digital zoom, or trying to crop and resize larger? I like the purples, and the silhouette of the tree. karmat |

The tree in this one is a little distracting to me. The sky also seems to have a lot of noise. If you ran a despeckle or I saw a thread in the forums talking about something called neatimage or something like that that will smooth it out more. 4 |

This looks like it was either cropped too much, or it is just a poor camera. I cannot see what the subject is supposed to be in this shot. |

The sun has truely set on this one, very dark, don't find anything appealing. 20 minutes earlier and you could have had a more interesting sky but instead there is nothing to look at. 1-Martin |

don't let the low scores bring you down, keep on pluggin. you're taking pictures, which wouldn't happen unless you had something the world needed to see. one of these days you'll be opening a can of whupass on us all. |

Seems out of focus to me. Also, the color appears grainy. This could be my monitor, but I don't think so. Too bad you didn't get this a few minutes sooner. |

Great idea, composition. The shot is a bit blurred for my liking. Overall well done. Goodluck. Score 6 Justine |

did the light affect the focus? |

this shot qualifies for the challenge, however, the photo is rather pixelated, probably due to the file being saved at only 19kb, where up to 150kb are allowed. there are some tutorials on this site to help you maximize the photo quality, i'd also be happy to try and help if you want to send me an email. -- gr8photos. |

Brighter or better clarity probably would have added to this photo. Instead, everything blends. Nice cloud textures, though. |

This is a good depiction of negative space... the evening sky with a tree silhouetted against the background works well... This particular image looks a little pixellated throughout the sky however... Mabye this image was enlarged from it's original size? I'm not sure what type of camera this was taken with either. Regardless of this.. the effort is well understood.. good shot :) - jmsetzler |
