 Well, this was the last day I had to get a shadow. I got up early Suday morning and went the lake. I had another idea but I really liked this one. I wanted it in color but the water was to muddy so b/w worked best. And, I'm comfortable with b/w from my dark room days. Anyway, I like it. I hope it does okay. My guess is at least a 6- would love higher but, well, we will see. I hope noone curses at me this time. ha!
After challenge: Wish is would of done better but I'm happy with the image and all the comments- Thank you so much

Angela,

I think everyone wants their photos to be appreciated. But, is it enough to have a few great photographers compliment your work or better to have a hundred people with limited photography experience give you that coveteted high DPC vote. Both are rewarding - it is satifying to learn how to play the DPC game, and it is equally, if not more, rewarding to observe how your powers of observation and technical prowness progress as you continue your own personal photo journey.

btw... I would have scored this an 8 and the horse shadow a 5. I think you made the right choice.
