Thank you for your critique, Heather. Your points are well taken, but I am still confused about the correct sigh of Aquaris. Not being familiar with all the signs, I looked them up in the "World Book" and they showed the version I used. Later, after receiving a comment like your's, I did some research on the web and discovered it displayed both ways. Also, no the shot was not handheld. My auto focus just wouldn't nail those bottles as well as I wanted and I finally just accepted the best it would do. I've since learned how to correct that problem. Thanks again for your input.

My first impression of this was that these were some kind of medicine bottles. Like insulin bottles, and the shot didn't make much sense to me. They look very small. However, I am thinking that these are bottles of water, which would then make sense.
the focus on the bottles is a bit soft. I really can't get any detail out of the bottles at all. I mean that by trying to read the words on the bottles.
Personally, I like the lighting. I like the way the shaddows are on the blue, it kind of looks like waves in the background as well. However, I think it puts a strange orangeish tan hue onthe bottles and that doesn't look appealing. If only we could get white bottles and the cool background, it would be a nice combination.
The sign seems off to me. Seems like one of the ends is suposed to go UP and not both going down. We do get the point though and this does fit the challenge nicely.
I'm wondering if the focus seems soft because of the lighting. This was handheld, wasn't it? I think that had a tripod been used, this could have come out nice and crisp.
Overall an interesting and creative take on the challenge

I don't like the lighting, personally. Interesting idea, though!

The water bottles look a little out of focus. I do like the symetry in the photo.

Cute! Lighting a little uneven between top and bottom.

awkward lighting, glare/shadows. Redo the lighting and it'd be cool

creative interpretation! I think it would look even better if the entire background was dark- it might help emphasize the shape you are presenting.

Humm, great portable, personal aquarius. This comes with a fish too?

that's an interesting connection! I like it, although I think there should be more light in this picture so the background could be just blue and not blue and black. 5

NICE! but you screwed up the sign ... the last bottle shouldn't be there.
