So, yesterday, I go to my little job at the Community College, and lying in the shade watching everything is "this cat." Not that unusual; there were several students standing around, and sometimes one of them will bring a friend. a four legged friend.

Later, I find out that this cat has shown up at our department, and seems to want to stay. Our secretary goes and buys cat food, and it was still there this morning.

The cleaning team arrived; cleaned the building, fed the cat.

The first instructor arrived, saw the bowl was empty; fed the cat.

The supervisor arrives, saw the bowl was empty; fed the cat.

This cat is going nowhere, though in theory, we are looking for a home for it. At least that is the story if the college pres or vice comes by.

We don't let her in the building, but she really seems to like hanging around outside.

I wanted to name her LEO (short for Leopard), but then they broke it to me that she was a she. Oh well.

So, without further ado, meet Ebby.

Leonora? And then you can still call her leo. hehe

Love it that everyone is taking care of her like this. Our school is kind of out in the country and lots of people dump cats in the area. Ours must get shooed away before anyone sees any.

Great story!

As long as someone is always around to feed her, why not have an office cat? I'm sure she'll come in when it gets cold. Of course, if everyone feeds her she's going to get fat. :-)
When I was a teenager, a stray took up residence in my dad's store. It actually brought in customers.

Neat story and photo. Good details in her face, especially considering how dark she is.

I have a girl dog named Clifford so don't let the name thing mess with you - the animal will never be offended.

awwwww. a beautiful baby! If I didn't have so many kitties already, I'd drive over your way and pick him up! :) But I have 4 inside kitties and about 3 or 4 outside cats that have adopted us and we feed them too. He's a beauty. Or, SHE is. You should take her home! Black cats are so unique. My black cat (he's a tuxedo cat) is one of a kind, I tell ya. Ebby would keep your home interesting. :)
