 Wish I could offer the disclaimer that, "no animal was harmed in the process of photographing this event." I can't. But I can asure you nothing went to waste! I really,really love shrip cocktail! This was a good excuse, as any, to have some and at the same time meet the challenge. To me, it is the adult equivalent of Oreos and milk. (Although, I love them also!)
Used a tripod and a photography table with two 250w halogen lights. Shot the scene at ISO's of 100 and 200 and at f stops of 5.6 and 9. Chose the 5.6 @100 ISO because they provided the better color and black contrast.
Cropped, adjusted auto color, sized for the web and adjust brightnes slightly. Finally, made some fine color adjusments on the tails of the shrimp.
Finished eating the last of the shrimp!

yummy, makes my mouth water, but haven't we seen that crooked legged martini glass before in a couple of other challenges?

Nice picture. Colors are beautiful together. The only thing that distracts me a bit is the shrimp hanging over the edge of the glass, that creates an unbalance.

Looks yummy! Sharp focus and details. Color is nice, too. There are three+ white spots in the lower right that should have been cloned out, I think.
