I agree, but not high enough for it to be safe to face away from the ocean or to be that "distracted"

too far from subject, your 'neg space' overwhelms the lovers
this would be a better picture without them

this would have been a good candidate for "Your Corner of the World" this week too :)

lost a lot of detail because of rocks

Slightly underexposed, but the use of space is very good.

Nice shot! I think I might like it better if you got a little closer to the couple so they were a little clearer but without losing a lot of the neg space.

This is very well done, although I think I would prefer to see more sky and less foreground. Lovely photograph never the less. 8 BAMartin

i love how the clouds look almost like a painting.

Nice photo - not really a neg space one for me though. I appreciate this comment is according to my own definitions of neg space and your mileage may vary.

Your photograph has nice layers with the rocks and then the horizon. Very well done.

This is just beautiful! It's one of my 10s for the week & one of my favorites from DPC overall. The focus in the foreground seems a tad soft. Is it due to compression or was the original a bit blurry? ~indigo997

This could be a greeting card, wonderful photo!

Nice picture. I think it would be better if the foreground was a bit brighter. It could use just a bit of sharpening too. Your subject matter is good and I like the presentation.

It just doesn't have that crispness. Conceptually a pretty good shot.

I assume that the people are the subject here, and everything else is the neg. space. The surroundings are beautiful. You should correct the left tilt in the horizon however. The lighting is very nice for the mood of this photo. The sky is beautiful. The angle and framing, other than the slight tilt, are great. The focus seems a bit soft for my taste. almost hard to see that there are 2 people there. Overall good photo. Good luck in the challenge. 6 ~hbunch7187~

Nice, could of left out the puddle on the right, distracting. Good luck-score 6 Justine

Horizon not level. I'd have framed a bit to the right, and I think you could have made something of those rockpools in the bottom right.

The atmosphere gives a mood here. It's not true negative space but it's one step closer than most of the other pictures submitted

Beautiful place. Makes me want to go back and visit the ocean. I wish there was a little more detail in the rocks and the couple.
