You stole my title! Your photo evokes similar emotions, but with different subject material. Creative and well done. |

I haven't figured out if thats a mirror or just a glass door. This works in B&W. 6 |

A very powerful image, and one that I am not completely understanding the use of negative space on. (not a criticism because this was a difficult topic for me). As a picture I really like the sharp focus and the "darkness" portrayed. After thought -- is this considered a space that is negative? Just wondering. karmat |

Is this a hospital room? This shot conveys sadness to me. |

beautiful photograph - love the light and the layers - but it doesn't really meet my definition of negative space. |

Not quite sure what the subject is here, so I can't really identify the neg. space. For neg. space to work, by definition, there needs to be a subject, and the space that is not used up by the subject is the neg. space. I do see what you are trying to convey here...the room is empty, leaving space. However, empty space in a room, and negetive space in a photo are not really the same thing. I believe this challenge was aimed toward people who have art or photography background, and I will not hold it against you..so...challenge met. That being said, I like the use of the reflection in the window. The photo is a bit dark for my taste, however I do like the addition of the light to the left. The angle and framing are good, and the focus and clarity also are good. Overall, the photo it's self is very nice. Good luck in the challenge. ~hbunch7187~ |

excellent use of grayscale..the spot lighted pillow area balances out the gray areas and I especially like the reflected bed. |

Interesting... I'm not sure where the negatice space is meant to be... most of your image contains some subject matter of some sort |

Isn't there supposed to be a subject? Maybe I'm not the most qualified person to vote on these. Sorry |
