| Beautiful shot bringing several elements together well. Can understand peoples concerns during the challenge but it really is beautiful and think you can be proud of it regardless. |

| Beautiful landscape and it would score with high marks with me if it were in a landscape themed challenge. I really want to vote this high but I'm just not seeing the connection to group portrait... sorry. |

| First let me say that this is a stunning photo, I love the composition and the b& w is great. I do feel however that this does not fit the challenge discription, but that is just my opinion. |

You should of saved this for the freestudy.. a great shot that just doesnt meet the challenge in any way, shape nor form.. gonne mark you down which is a shame on such a nice image.

| For me, the entries in "Group Portrait" should be the main focus. With your image, they play very little part. As a landscape, I like your photo, just not for this particular challenge. |

| I may be wrong, but this looks like a California scene I've seen before. Not Morro Rock, but something mid-coast. Not a portrait, but still a nice picture. |

I am truly looking forward to seeing just how well this fares in the challenge.The most prominent items in this image are the rocks and the birds and the people play only a minor role in the image.
This is indeed a beautiful photo, but I fear that you will suffer the wrath of those that earnestly believe that this DNMC, and in this instance I would fall in that category. |

| This is beautiful but to be a portrait, the humans (or pets, etc) need to be the focus. The softness movement, etc is lovely but this is a landscape. If it were in FS I'd give it a 7 |

i wonder if this is in line with the spirit of a "portrait" though technically it matches the challenge description.
