 I thought this shot would work well for this challenge as to me, it does just that. The beginning of the night at the end of the day. I really liked the dark feel to it.

This is again, Mount Shuksan. It seems that I am very obsessed with this mountain and have shot it in numerous conditions in numerous seasons for numerous years. I should probably try to find a different subject matter someday.

What a shame we didn't know about that ribbon during our outing - that would certainly have been worth a beer or two, huh?

Michaeal!! Congratulations -- both on such beautiful photography, and your first (of many I'm sure) ribbon! This was one of my favorites, and I was sure it would be one of the winners the minute I saw it!

And with a subject that beautiful that has so many versatile looks. . .I think finding a new subject is totally unnecessary! I'm so glad it finally got the recognition it deserves!

Beautiful image! IMHO, it could maybe use just a tad more "punch" (adjust curves a tad, at the darker side in particular, or maybe a touch of S/H), but then again, maybe not :) (7)

the photo is gorgeous, but I think the title would better serve the challenge if it was the "beginning of the end of day", since this is a "beginning of the end" challenge.
