I should have taken this - turned it upside down and entererd it in the textures challenge ;p
I love the texture on the hand, and monotone enhances the overall picture.

Interesting how the fingernails seem almost rotten after the post-processing you did on this photograph. I like how it adds to the effect.

The texture is spectacular. The reduction of the dynamic range makes this look edgy and tense, which is very good. I don't know if I personally like the composition. The angle makes the fingers look short whereas if they were coming towards me they would look long as in "a long road of suffering". Ah well, that's just my opinion. It's still an awesome photo.

While I would never put this on my livingroom wall, I like this strong entry very much. Great texture, awesome pose and how you set the contrast/levels is just on the spot. Good luck.
